We are on-site with you and do not direct your company from the outside. Our proximity to the proceedings enables us to initiate the necessary measures in good time.

Preparation & implementation of self-administration
Self-administration is a form of insolvency procedure in which the management, rather than an insolvency administrator, conducts the insolvency proceedings. In this case, the management continues to be the decision-maker for entrepreneurial action. However, the necessary self-administration planning requires a high degree of specialist know-how. The entrepreneur must explain to the court how the business crisis came about and how he intends to overcome it (restructuring concept). Among other things, a six-month financial plan must be drawn up showing that the financing of the proceedings is secured. Companies seeking reorganisation in self-administration will usually be doing so for the first time. In order to meet the insolvency-specific framework conditions, the company must be supplemented by a reorganisation expert with insolvency experience. Furthermore, a custodian is appointed by the court to ensure that the rules of insolvency law are complied with.
Restructuring Framework (StaRUG)
On 1 January 2021, the legislator created a new legal framework in the form of the Stabilisation and Restructuring Framework (StaRUG) – previously also known as the preventive restructuring framework. With this assistance, companies that are not yet at the stage of having to file for insolvency due to illiquidity can reorganise themselves outside of insolvency proceedings. Within the framework of a quick check, we examine the crisis indicators, evaluate them, derive the necessary restructuring paths from them and check whether the StaRUG procedure is the first choice for the company or whether other paths are better suited for restructuring.
