Thomas Bruder
Thomas Bruder is a graduate engineer and has many years of experience as managing director, chairman of the board and managing partner of various companies, including plant construction companies with over 4,000 employees and sales volumes of up to 750 million euros. Thomas Bruder is currently managing director of Bruder Beteiligungen GmbH with his own companies, including PSC- Management- und Sanierungsberatungs GmbH and Enjoy Jazz GmbH, Energielenker GmbH and DUO Technik GmbH. PSC founder Thomas Bruder (born 1957) is married, has two children and lives in Heidelberg.

Dr. Heribert Komarek
Dr. Heribert Komarek holds a degree in business administration and a doctorate in law. After leading the corporate finance department of a Next Ten auditing firm and in a group of companies, he has been active in an advisory and interim capacity in responsible positions with a focus on accounting and finance since 2005. His mandates include all company sizes with a focus on medium-sized companies for shareholders, the management and the insolvency administrator. His main focus is on the preparation of expert opinions, reorganisations and restructurings from ongoing business operations to out-of-court settlements and the assumption of activities in insolvency. He teaches at the SRH University of Applied Sciences in Heidelberg in the corporate restructuring/reorganisation course. Heribert Komarek is married, has two children and lives in Bensheim.
Thomas Fröhlich
Thomas Fröhlich holds a degree in business administration (FH) and is a restructuring manager (TH). He has 20 years of experience in leading positions for German and international automotive suppliers. His main focus is on the management of performance-related corporate divisions. Since 2007, he has been working as an interim and restructuring manager in responsible functions as a CRO – with or without a corporate body – as well as a divisional or project manager. He has experience in group and medium-sized company structures as well as complex carve-out projects. In numerous mandates, he has acted for shareholders, the management or the insolvency administrator in the context of restructurings, transferring reorganisations, the continuation, realignment and sale of companies.

Franz-Josef Appel
Franz-Josef Appel, who holds a degree in business administration (FH) and is a certified public accountant, started his career at Arthur Andersen in Frankfurt. He is a founding member of PSC and has many years of experience in auditing and advising national and international clients, including listed and medium-sized companies from the automotive, IT, textile, plant engineering and chemical industries, among others. He has advised on numerous large transactions, company valuations and crossborder acquisitions and has extensive restructuring experience, particularly in the automotive industry. This includes financing restructuring, strategic corporate planning, business planning and support in insolvency proceedings. Since 2000, he has worked as a partner and member of the management board of PKF Riedel Appel Hornig GmbH. Franz-Josef Appel (born 1966) lives in Eberbach, is married and has two children.

The graduate business economist (FH) and tax consultant is a founding member of the PSC and has many years of experience in advising medium-sized companies. Manfred Hornig is a proven specialist in, among other things, the financial reorganisation and restructuring of companies as well as in financial and tax due diligence. He is a member of the tax committee of the Rhine-Neckar Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the PKF Restructuring Working Group and the Centre for Insolvency and Restructuring (ZIS). Manfred Hornig (born 1964) lives in Heidelberg, is married and has two children.

Manfred Hornig is a proven specialist in, among other things, the financial reorganisation and restructuring of companies as well as in financial and tax due diligence. Dr. Harald Riedel
Dr. Harald Riedel, a business graduate, auditor and tax consultant, can look back on more than 25 years of experience in auditing, tax and management consulting. He is a founding member of the PSC and a specialist in auditing and advising manufacturing and service companies. He designs tax models, carries out company valuations, audits and advises on structural measures. Harald Riedel lives in Heidelberg, is married and has four children. He is a member of the Chamber of Tax Advisors and Auditors.

Josef Tauber holds a degree in business administration and specialises in personnel, organisational and labour law. He has many years of management experience in the entire range of human resources work in well-known companies and has been working in these areas as a freelancer since 2003. His experience focuses on restructuring, both in smaller regional and larger global personnel adjustments. Numerous successful assignments as an interim manager in all fields of human resource management round off his profile as a conceptual and at the same time implementation-oriented personality. Josef Tauber (born 1962) is married, has two children and lives in Nidderau near Frankfurt.

Klaus Mader
Klaus Mader holds a degree in business administration and majored in banking, civil and commercial law. He has industrial expertise from the mechanical engineering sector as well as many years of experience and practice in the banking business of an internationally active bank with management experience. This includes advising numerous group companies in capital market business as well as medium-sized companies. In each case, the task included the conceptual structuring of the financing of the companies, in particular also in restructuring phases. As a lecturer, he teaches business administration at the SRH University of Applied Sciences in Heidelberg. Klaus Mader lives in Heidelberg, is married and has three grown-up children.

Gerhard Rein is a business graduate and tax consultant. He has also completed training in restructuring and insolvency management. He has 20 years of experience in leading positions in finance and controlling. Here he worked for German mediumsized companies and subsidiaries of international groups in the automotive supply and chemical industries. As an operational manager, he successfully managed both regular insolvency proceedings and one of the first insolvency proceedings according to ESUG with 10 individual companies for automotive suppliers during this time. Since 2014, he has been working on an interim basis for well-known insolvency administrators in regular insolvency and self-administration proceedings.
